As a photographer I deal with the most common fear of all…a phobia about posting a picture for ‘the world to see’.  

Online dating is serious business. And it is not easy...for many it can be like working a crossword puzzle. In fact for most persons finding themselves in the world of online dating, it can be downright intimidating! 


To even begin searching for Mr. or Mrs. Right, you have to select the online site that is best for you, write your profile, answer personality and interests questions and oh by the way.....upload a profile picture! This is where you ask yourself...which picture do I use, is mine recent, do I look my best? On top of this, online dating can become somewhat expensive. However, online dating is an investment in your future and you want to make the most out of the time you are using your online dating service. 

A great profile picture is the answer and will increase your chances of being noticed!

Spring portraits with a live bunny 2012 - Now Booking!

 is now booking it's 4th annual spring and Easter portraits with a live bunny for 2012! 

The daffodils are in bloom and spring is on it's way - that means it is time for live bunny portraits! This spring we have two session options for your children to have portraits with a live Easter bunny!

You have the option to book your session at the gorgeous Marlow House located on the Historic Marietta Square, as this will be our fourth year photographing spring portraits with a live bunny at this fantastic popular spring and Easter bunny session location! There will only be one day for this special event, so do not delay in booking as it will fill up quickly!

In-studio portraits are also offered this year, the props and theming of these sessions will be spring / Easter / bunny related.

THE DETAILS

The Marlow House Session $225 - Tuesday morning, March 13th, 2012 - by appointment only.


The Studio Session $199 - Various weekday dates now booking from February - March 2012 - by appointment only. {please call for appointment times} 


Non-refundable pre-payment required in full at the time of appointment booking. All sessions are by appointment only and are limited to availability. 20-30 minute sessions, one look. Studio sessions booked for morning/early afternoon. 


All bunny sessions include bunny/spring themed portraits and includes:


-Ten digital images, fully edited in the Turning Leaf style, for printing up to 8x12 in size (the best of the best will be chosen by the photographer), images will be shared via download link, includes print release. There is no 'proofing' done with these sessions. Turn-around time is approximately one week for delivery. Digitals will be able to be printed up to 8x12 in size, as many prints as you wish.  Turning Leaf Photography's recommended printer will be included so you can produce quality pictures from your session. 


-Siblings only, up to two children are included in the fee, $25 per additional child. These sessions are not available for family portraits. If you would like spring family portraits, please inquire about our family sessions.

FAQ's

How will I proof my images? In trying to keep bunny sessions as simple as possible, this year there is no proofing with bunny sessions. Your session images will be culled (which is a fancy term for picking the 'best of the best', meaning closed eyes, shots that look similar, etc. will be weeded out. This is already what is done prior to normal proofing of images for sessions with Turning Leaf.). Please trust the expertise of the photographer in selecting the best of the best images from your session! If you would like to proof all of your images from your session and have an online shopping cart, there will be a minimum print order of $150; this cost will be in addition to your bunny session fee.


How will I receive my digital images? Your images will be available for download via a password protected link approximately one week following your session. Files are zipped/compressed and you must be able to download and unzip your files. While this may scare some people, this is a very simple process- have no fear if you are unfamiliar with handling zipped/compressed files! Digital images are large therefore zipping/compression is usually necessary for uploading/downloading. If you desire a disc with images, there will be a $25 fee, which includes USPS shipping. Please specify your desire for this upon booking your session so this can be included in your session booking fee.


What if it rains March 13, 2012? If we have rain on this date there will be a reschedule date planned within one week of the original session date. If you are unable to come to the reschedule date, then you will be able to have a studio session in it's place, however there will be no credit for the additional monies paid for the Marlow House session. Rescheduling on this date due to weather related issues will be at the sole discretion of the photographer.


What if my child is sick on the day of my session? We understand this can happen, please contact at the soonest prior to your session if it does (preferably NOT the day of your session). Reschedules are at the sole discretion of the photographer, a $75 reschedule fee may be incurred. Reschedules must be held within ten days of your original session date for bunny sessions. Please do not abuse the reschedule option as it can play havoc with the photographers schedule. Your session, date and time is specifically scheduled for you; please try to avoid this at all costs. 


What should my child wear for the session? Popular clothing for these sessions is your 'Easter Sunday best' - especially for the Marlow House sessions! Being dressed down is also an option, pastel colors work well, as do hand-smocked outfits, sun-dresses with a sweater, etc. Bare feet are a popular choice for all bunny sessions. In-studio sessions can also vary with clothing choices, however for both sessions, please come dressed and ready for your session. We will only have time for pictures with one outfit.

2011 Holiday Portraits with Santa, Atlanta & Marietta, Georgia

Santa's sleigh has been spotted around town conditioning the reindeer for the BIG EVENT that's right around the corner. 

CHRISTMAS is only a blink of an eye away!

I've been on the hotline with the big man himself and he's been busy making his list and checking it twice!

Turning Leaf Photography offers Santa portraits like none other in the Atlanta Metro area. Our third annual portraits with Santa is again scheduled at the gorgeous Marlow House, a Victorian home on the Historic Marietta Square in Marietta, Ga! The home will be decorated with Christmas tree's galore and will be open for tours!

Portraits with Santa always proves to be a spectacular event and will be held on December 3, 2011 by appointment, during the 25th annual Marietta Pilgrimage Tour, a fantastical tour of historic homes on the Marietta Square.

What better way to kick off the magical holiday season than with life long memorable, heirloom portraits with Santa - who wants to stand in line at the local mall anyways?

Pictures with Santa include a non-rushed visit, allowing plenty of time to talk and visit with Santa, share your child's Christmas list all while Turning Leaf Photography captures these moments for a lifetime of memories!

Atlanta Photographer - Fall, Holiday Family and Santa Portraits

Fall family portraits are in full swing! 

The phone rang (literally) off the hook for the past two days filling the calendar even more with family portrait bookings. I have very slim pickings for sessions in October and November is filling in fast as well. This is prime holiday portrait time folks!

Just a reminder that I am booking appointments for Santa portraits in-studio for November 12th, 2011 (hello, this is only one month away!). This early bird session is awesome because it will allow plenty of time for orders to come back in time for GUARANTEED holiday gifting! This is great for those who can plan ahead and visit Santa before the holiday rush! Sessions allow one-on-one time with Santa and include a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'!! 

The second date I am booking for portraits with Santa is December 3rd, 2011.  This is the only date for portraits with Santa at The Marlow House on the Historic Marietta Square. Sessions are booking by appointment. This is a perfect opportunity to make a day of visiting the Marietta Square as the 2011 Pilgrimage Tour will also be going on this weekend and The Marlow House will be decking their halls with boughs of holly! Why wait at the mall or some other line to visit Santa? Products from this sessions will be back just before Christmas, however holiday products, like cards will not be available prior to Christmas mailing.

Speaking of holiday portraits, I've been busy at work in between everything else setting up my 2011 holiday line up for Christmas cards this year! I will be bringing back some of the fun, whimsical vintage card designs that I've designed myself for last year!

2011 Portraits with Santa - Atlanta Family and Children's Photographer

He is really very excited about the upcoming holiday season - he's already making his list and checking it twice!

This year, sessions will be held at our new studio location as well as a ONE day ONLY visit to the beautiful Marlow House in Marietta, Ga. The Marlow House is located on the historic Marietta Square in Marietta, Ga! This is always an event you will not want to miss and our third year at the Marlow House! 

In-studio (Woodstock) sessions are now booking for November 12th, 2011 from 11:00am - 3:30pm.

Marlow House sessions are now booking for December 3rd, 2011 from 1:00 - 4:45. This will be the ONLY date Santa will be at the Marlow House this season!
