Christmas is such a fun and exciting time. It is a time of visiting friends and family, lots of shopping and eating good food. We enjoy giving and getting gifts, decorating our homes and putting up Christmas trees. In some areas of the world people enjoy the cold weather and snow that come with winter. And yes most look forward to the tradition of Santa Claus’ visit on Christmas Eve.
With that said I ask you all to never forget why we really celebrate. It is the birth of Jesus. Without the birth of this Child over two thousand years ago there would be no Christmas.
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11.
